Advertising & Testimonials Standard

The standard Astronia holds its own marketing to

1. Truthful and substantiated claims

Advertisements must be honest, capable of substantiation where objectively verifiable, and must not mislead through wording, omission, editing, urgency or visual implication. Astronia must not claim “100% accurate”, “guaranteed result”, “government approved”, “scientifically proven”, “best” or a numerical success rate without current competent evidence and any required permission.

2. Astrology disclaimer

Every material advertisement for a prediction, Consultation, remedy or AI feature must carry a clear, readable disclaimer appropriate to the medium: “For entertainment, personal reflection and general guidance. Results are not guaranteed.” Medical, legal and financial themes require an additional professional-advice warning.

3. Health, remedy and magic-remedy claims

3.1 No advertisement, landing page, creative, caption, influencer brief, push notification or Service Provider promotional post may state or imply that a Consultation, remedy, gemstone, yantra, talisman, kavach, puja or ritual diagnoses, cures, mitigates, treats or prevents a disease, disorder or condition, or that it improves fertility or pregnancy outcomes, or resolves a mental-health condition.

3.2 The marketing team maintains a written blocked-claims list drawn from the Schedule to the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, together with the conditions and phrasings that are never to be used. Every creative is checked against that list before release, and the check is recorded.

3.3 A hedge, a disclaimer or a testimonial framing does not make a prohibited claim permissible.

4. Free, cashback, discount and urgency claims

4.1 A “free” claim must disclose, with equal prominence, any payment, recharge, Platform Session Fee, automatic renewal, restricted provider, time limit or other material condition. A Session described as free must not attract a Platform Session Fee unless that fee is disclosed with equal prominence in the same creative and on the same screen.

4.2 A “cashback” claim must state whether the benefit is paid as money to the original payment source or as Service Credits usable only on Astronia, together with its validity period and any usage restriction. A benefit issued as Service Credits must not be advertised in a way that implies money will be returned.

4.3 Countdown timers, limited-stock messages and scarcity claims must reflect genuine system data and must not restart deceptively. Pre-ticked add-ons, disguised advertisements, forced continuity and subscription traps are prohibited.

4.4 Every element of the price must be shown before the User commits. No charge may be revealed only after confirmation.

5. Testimonials, reviews and influencers

5.1 Testimonials must be genuine and must not be edited to create a misleading result claim. Exceptional experiences must not be presented as typical.

5.2 A review or testimonial may be used in advertising only under the User’s separate recorded permission under the Terms of Use, Cl. 11.3. The marketing file must retain that permission and the approved wording, attribution, media and duration. Withdrawal or deletion stops future use within a reasonable operational period.

5.3 Influencers, celebrities, affiliates, employees and compensated reviewers must make a clear and prominent material-connection disclosure.

6. Ranking and promoted placement

Promoted or boosted placement must be labelled wherever it appears, in a manner a reasonable user will notice, and must not be presented as an organic recommendation, an editorial selection or a merit ranking. The public ranking explanation at the “How astrologers are ranked” page must be kept current whenever the ranking model or the promotional programmes change.

7. Vulnerable audiences

Marketing must not exploit grief, illness, infertility, disability, financial distress, relationship breakdown, fear of supernatural harm, or a child’s credulity. Retargeting based on private Consultation content or on inferred crisis status is prohibited. No advertising is directed at a person Astronia knows or reasonably believes to be a child.
