How Astrologers Are Ranked

What decides the order you see

When you browse astrologers on Astronia, the order you see is not random and it is not purely alphabetical. This page explains what decides it.

What affects where an astrologer appears

Factor How it is used
Availability Astrologers who are online and able to take a consultation now appear above those who are offline.
Ratings and reviews The average rating, and how many consultations it is based on. A high rating from very few consultations counts for less than the same rating from many.
Language and skill match Astrologers who practise the skill you are browsing and speak a language you have selected are shown higher.
Service quality Response time, how often confirmed bookings are honoured, how often sessions end early, and complaint history.
Experience and verification Years of practice and the verification checks completed. Verification is not a licence or an endorsement — tap the badge for what it covers.
Paid promotion Astrologers can pay to be promoted, or can opt into a discount or campaign that increases their visibility. Promoted placements are always labelled “Promoted”.
Your own activity Astrologers you have consulted before, or whose profiles you have opened, may be shown higher.

What does not affect ranking

Promoted placements

Where a placement is paid for, it carries a “Promoted” label wherever it appears — in lists, in search results, on the home screen and in notifications. A promoted astrologer is subject to exactly the same conduct rules, safety rules and refund rules as any other.
