Wallet & Service Credits Policy

How Astronia credits work

1. Nature of Service Credits

1.1 Service Credits are closed-system contractual credits issued by AP Pure Care Private Limited and usable only against eligible services for which AP Pure Care Private Limited is the contracting supplier and merchant of record. They are not a bank account, deposit, investment, legal tender or general-purpose payment instrument.

1.2 Service Credits cannot be transferred to another User, sold, gifted, exchanged, withdrawn as cash, used to pay a Service Provider directly, or used with any third-party merchant. The User’s sole counterparty for redemption is AP Pure Care Private Limited. Astronia does not operate a cash-withdrawal facility, and no feature of the Platform permits a User to convert Service Credits into money except as a refund of unutilised advance consideration under Clause 7.

1.3 No interest accrues on Service Credits, and a Service Credit balance is not a debt payable on demand.

2. Credit categories

Category Rule
Paid Service Credits Credits obtained against money paid by the User. Each credit entry shows its value and its validity.
Refund Credits Credits issued where the User chooses Service Credits for a Tier 2 refund under the Refund Policy, Cl. 7. Treated as Paid Service Credits to the extent the underlying amount was paid, and convertible to source under the Refund Policy, Cl. 7.3.
Promotional Credits Bonus, cashback, referral, goodwill, campaign or Tier 3 credits issued without equivalent payment. No cash value; not convertible to money in any circumstance.

2.1 Paid and Promotional Credits are displayed as separate balances, each with its own expiry date, and the transaction ledger shows every addition and deduction.

3. Limits, verification and holds

3.1 Astronia applies a maximum wallet balance, a maximum single top-up and a maximum aggregate top-up per calendar month. The current values are displayed on the recharge screen and in the Help Centre.

3.2 Astronia may require enhanced identity verification before permitting top-ups above a published cumulative threshold, and may decline or reverse a top-up that cannot be verified.

3.3 Credits funded by a newly added payment instrument may be subject to a short holding period before they become spendable. Astronia may also apply a proportionate hold where velocity, device, instrument or behavioural signals indicate a risk of fraud, card testing or unauthorised use, and will notify the User of the hold and its expected duration.

3.4 A payment instrument used to fund the wallet must be lawfully held by the User or used with the express authority of its holder.

4. Validity and notices

4.1 Paid Service Credits are valid for 24 months from the date of each credit, unless a longer period is displayed. Promotional Credits expire on the campaign date shown at issue, or after 30 days if no different period is displayed. No Paid Service Credit expires while a refund request, account-security review or legal hold affecting that credit is pending.

4.2 Expiry dates are shown in the wallet. Astronia sends durable reminders at least 30 days and 7 days before a Paid Service Credit expires, using the registered communication channel and an in-app notice.

4.3 Where permitted by law, an expired paid-credit entry may be restored once if the User applies within 30 days after expiry and passes account-security review. Promotional Credits are not restored unless campaign terms or law require it.

5. Usage order and the Platform Session Fee

5.1 Within each category, credits with the earliest expiry are used first. Astronia will not silently consume Paid Service Credits before an eligible earlier-expiring Promotional Credit.

5.2 Where a Session attracts a Platform Session Fee, the pre-connect screen shows separately the credits applied to the Consultation Rate and to the Platform Session Fee, and, for each, the split between Paid Service Credits and Promotional Credits.

5.3 Promotional Credits may be applied to the Platform Session Fee only where the terms of the relevant campaign expressly say so. Where a campaign offers a benefit that cannot be used against the Platform Session Fee, that restriction is stated in the offer with equal prominence to the benefit.

6. Refunds received into the wallet

6.1 Service Credits are credited as a refund destination only in accordance with the Refund Policy, Cl. 7. Astronia does not offer Service Credits as a substitute for a Tier 1 refund.

6.2 Refund Credits carry the same validity as Paid Service Credits and remain convertible to the original payment source under the Refund Policy, Cl. 7.3.

7. Account closure

7.1 On voluntary account closure, unused Promotional Credits lapse.

7.2 Unexpired Paid Service Credits represent unutilised advance consideration. On closure, Astronia will refund them to the original payment source where feasible, subject to identity, fraud and payment verification, less only a clearly disclosed third-party charge that is legally recoverable and not caused by Astronia’s breach. This is a one-time reconciliation on closure of the account. It is not a withdrawal facility, and Astronia does not offer partial or on-demand withdrawal of a credit balance at any other time.

7.3 Credits linked to an unresolved chargeback, fraud review or law-enforcement request may be frozen until the matter is resolved.

8. Set-off, negative balance, errors and misuse

8.1 Astronia may reverse credits created by a duplicate posting, technical error, refunded payment, self-referral, fraud or policy abuse, after recording the reason and notifying the User. The User may appeal through the Grievance Policy.

8.2 Where a payment funding the wallet is subsequently reversed, or a chargeback succeeds in respect of a service the User actually received, the corresponding amount becomes immediately due to Astronia. Astronia may apply it against the existing credit balance, may record a negative balance, and may set it off against future credits, after notifying the User with the reason and the transaction reference.

8.3 Astronia will not exercise Clause 8.2 in respect of a transaction the User has reported as unauthorised, while that report is under investigation.

8.4 Where an account is restricted for suspected abuse, Astronia will complete its review within a reasonable period and will release any balance not connected to the suspected conduct.
